I left my sessions with Amy with a sense of empowerment

Client Love

“When I started working with Amy, I had done the diet roller coaster over and over, and felt like I had done just about everything to change my lifestyle but was unsuccessful as I kept finding myself back in poor eating habits.

Working with Amy, I found myself making changes/goals that were realistic and felt a sense of healing with my relationship with food. Amy was excellent at holding me accountable and also had an understanding, healing touch when I fell short which motivated me to get back on track.

I left my sessions with Amy with a sense of empowerment and felt like I had a direction and doable goals. It was something that was unique working with Amy. She was knowledgeable with nutrition, listened to me, then facilitated the meeting to build goals together and reviewed what was discussed at the end.

Overall, I highly recommend Amy. Her approach to coaching anyone wanting to make changes for a healthier lifestyle and healing relationships with food are effective and a collaborative effort.

Thank you, Amy!”

Meet your Nutrition Coach

Hi there! I’m Amy Gigger, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach specializing in plant-based nutrition. I help busy women ditch the diet roller coaster and transition to a plant-based (or vegan) lifestyle. Instead of the all-or-nothing dieting approach, I use a sustainable, practice-based approach to build healthy habits into your life, one day at a time. I can help you with every stage of your nutrition journey including learning to eat mindfully, transitioning to a plant-based diet, meal planning, creating balanced meals, breaking up with dieting, and more.

Is 1-on-1 Nutrition Coaching right for you?

This program IS right for you if you’re:

  • Ready to prioritize yourself and your health
  • Looking for a sustainable, life-long approach instead of a temporary “quick fix”
  • Ready to take an active role in your health and fitness
  • Looking to improve your eating habits without having to count calories or macros
  • Eager to take action towards your goals with guidance, support, and accountability

This program is NOT for you if you’re:

  • An elite athlete
  • Looking for a quick fix right before an event (like a wedding, performance, or audition)
  • Wanting to manage a medical condition with your diet or have an eating disorder
  • Trying to gain muscle for an athletic event or competition
  • Prefer to do things completely on your own and don’t need a coach

How it works:

Step 1: APPLY HERE

I can only take on a certain number of 1:1 clients, so please fill out this application with as much detail as possible. I will review your application within 24 hours (M-F), and if it seems like the right fit I’ll invite you to hop on a free, 30-minute discovery call. On this call, we’ll dive deeper into your goals and expectations.

Step 2: GET STARTED

If we both decide that we’re the right fit for each other, we’ll enroll you and schedule your first session during our discovery call. You’ll receive a digital welcome packet that will explain everything you need to know to get started. On that first coaching call,  we’ll break your big goals down into small, doable daily actions.

Step 3: CONTINUING SUPPORT
During each coaching call, we’ll review your progress and build on past successes to help you reach the next level. We’ll take a proactive approach by looking out for any barriers and exploring possible solutions BEFORE you run into them. As new challenges arise, we’ll adjust as needed so that you can feel confident with each new step.

This program starts with a 3-month commitment so that we have time to develop habits and begin to see results. Any coaching beyond that is up to you (available on a month-to-month basis), and I recommend 6-10 months to achieve the most success.

FAQs

I’ve tried everything already. What makes your coaching program different?

Unlike other programs that rely on extreme willpower or “one size fits all” meal plans, I’ll help you learn how to eat better in a way that fits YOUR goals and YOUR lifestyle.

That means you don’t have to count exact calories or points or anything like that. And there won’t be a list of foods you can’t eat. Instead, I use a science-based approach that teaches you how to look at food differently, listen to your body, and build lifestyle habits that put YOU in control of your health.

Rather than telling you to make a lot of changes to how you’re eating all at once, we’ll focus on changing one thing at a time by breaking your big goals down into highly strategic, doable daily actions. Over time, all these skills will become habits that result in incredible, life-changing results.

And even better: With this approach, you won’t feel deprived, overwhelmed, or confused about what to do. Instead, you’ll have a clear, step-by-step program that tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. As a result, you’ll gain energy and improve your health—while building the habits you need to stay that way for the rest of your life.

Why don’t you offer meal plans? Don’t I need to count calories or track macros to lose weight?

I’m guessing you’re here on this page because counting calories, tracking macros, and similar practices haven’t worked out for you in the end. It’s very common to struggle with restrictive diets because this approach tells you WHAT to do instead of teaching you how to eat better within the context of YOUR lifestyle.

So while some people can get results initially, most end up gaining all the weight they lost back again. And they realize that approach simply doesn’t work in the long run.

That doesn’t feel right to me. I became a coach to really help people. I want to help you stop thinking about food all day so you can focus on what truly matters to you. I want to help you get rid of food guilt so you don’t have to sneak eat alone in your car. I want to help you gain mental confidence so you can truly start living. I want to help you learn to eat better in a way that feels easy, consistent, and automatic within the context of YOUR life.

And I don’t want you to experience these things for just a little while. I want you to be able to experience all that a healthy lifestyle has to offer every day for the rest of your life.

That’s why my approach is completely different than most: we’ll work together to find out which foods are best for you, when to eat those foods, and how much of them to eat. You’ll build a set of sustainable habits that will serve you for the rest of your life.

How much time will this take?

We’ll meet up online through Zoom 4x a month for a 45 minute coaching session. Outside of these calls, your time commitment will vary based on the habits you’re working towards (meal prepping, mindful eating, etc.).

Do I need to be plant-based or want to go plant-based to work with you? Do I have to go 100% vegan?

Nope! I work with a variety of clients with very different food preferences and goals. Your personalized plan is always tailored to you and your lifestyle.

Will I lose weight on this program?

If weight loss is one of your goals, we can explore it. However, I NEVER promote rapid weight loss programs. We’ll look into your deeper reasons for wanting to lose weight, your current habits, and your relationship with food before deciding on sustainable goals with your overall health in mind.
